GOLDEN GIRLS DIRECTOR

Morgan Van Dresar

Ms. Van Dresar is a graduate of Caldwell High School, where she was a member of the Caldwell High School Honeybees Dance Team, serving as Lieutenant and 1st Lieutenant her junior and senior year. She was also a dedicated member of Dream Dancers Studios in Caldwell from 2004-2014. After high school, Ms. Van Dresar was selected as a World Famous Kilgore College Rangerette for the 75th Line. During her tenure at Kilgore, she had the privilege of traveling to Ireland, Scotland, the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic and The Contest of Champions at Walt Disney World to perform for audiences across the country and world. She earned her Associates of Arts degree in Dance Education in 2016, and continued her education at Texas A&M University. In 2019, Ms. Van Dresar graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and began her teaching career in Bryan ISD. She taught at SFA Middle School in the Texas History department from 2020-2022 and earned Rookie Teacher of the Year in 2021. She then gained a position at Rudder High School in 2022 as an AP US History teacher in the Advanced Placement department. During her collegiate and teaching tenure, she had the privilege of being the Assistant Director of the Rudder High School RangeRettes dance team from 2018-2024. Now, Ms. Van Dresar is eagerly anticipating the upcoming school year, stepping into her new role as the Director of the Conroe Golden Girls!

Hillary Britton

Mrs. Britton started dancing at the age of three, and danced non-competitively until 6th grade when she joined Masters Upper-Level competitive team 7th-9th grade in Stafford, TX. In High school, she was Co-captain and then Colonel for the Travis Belles Dance Team at William B. Travis High School in Richmond, TX. Mrs. Britton graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. While at Sam Houston, she was chosen to teach the historic Prime Time Line Dancers. After graduation, Mrs. Britton also helped open the MC Dance Studio in Huntsville, TX. Mrs. Britton was previously the Director of Dance at Creekside Park Junior High and Tomball Junior High in Tomball ISD before being named Assistant Director in 2021, and Goldies JV Director in 2023.
